Default Cam and lifter choice 548ci

Hey guys.. this has probably been gone over a bunch but I need some advice on cam selection.. To give some info on what I am doing.. I have a Dart block, Eagle rotating assembly, je pistons.. using AFRs partial cnc 305cc heads, B&M 420 mega blower with superchiller and twin quick fuel 750 carbs.. I like the Crane 651 but I'd like it with a 4/7 swap.. I am running CMI headers and I'm trying to stay safe on 92* octane and no chances of reversion issues.. I would like to see 850-900 hp but obviously want it safe and reliable.. any help is appreciated..also, I am not opposed to buying a lightly used cam if anyone has a lead on.. thanks again

the 651 or an equil cam from another company would be a good choice.the heads would not be my choice and i think will hurt higher rpm power.what compression ratio are you at?

Does 750-800 sound reasonable with the correct cam selection?

Probably 9:1.. I'd like to stay around 7-8 psi.. I already have the AFRs and I'm kinda committed at this point so if it can't make the power I'm going for, it'll just be what it is..lol.. I guess I was hopeful by what I've seen from others builds

I like the 651 cam, I built some 540's with those AFR 305 heads they made 630 hp through a 500 EFI intake, they had custom grind double swap billet core cams by Cam Motion dont know if they are still around or not.

Those are good numbers.. How did your valve train hold up with this cam?
