should I use silicone with rubber end gaskets on my oil pan?
I am affraid that I will have the same "squeezing out" problem that I had with my intake gaskets.
The only plus that I can see is that theese gaskets cant move anywhere because of the deep groove in the timing cover and rear main bearing cap.

Clean the block with a solvent MEK,Acetone,Brake clean etc.Glue Only end rubber gaskets to block with a contact type gasket sealer, spraytach, gasgacinch etc.
Put a small dab of silicone where pan gasket meets the rubber gasket, torque bolts down evenly .Do not tighten excessively.
