I lost a bearing buddy again
I used the gasket sealer as the instructions recommend but
I still loose one from time to time.
Anybody out there that can suggest how to keep these
boogers from wanting to make a home somewhere along
the berm let me know.

I use locktite - clean both pieces with lacquer thinner first.

Yup red Locktite holds them on good. Brake clean is what I use to clean them. Also MFB357 on the board showed me about not filling them up all the way. Only fill them up so that the spring is half compressed. That way when the grease heats up it does not blow them off.

Locktite sleeve retainer or epoxy em on if you dont need to take them off.
Could you put a set screw through the mating surfaces?

you probably have to much grease on the inner surface when you silicone it causing it not to adhere,,,,I would pull the hub,, clean the outside inner edge and try again.

I'm going to try another Locktite product such as
the red or the sleeve retainer as others recommended.

The only Time I have lost one is when the bearings are to loose. Try tightening the nut 1 or 2 flats.Always works for me

I've lost two (not at the same time ). Strangely enough , both times I discovered it when returning to the trailer after being parked in the marina all day.
I put closed center caps on my aluminum wheel two years ago and haven't had the problem since, Hmmmmmm
By the way , they haven't fallen off INSIDE the cap either

I had the same thing happen when I bought the disc brake upgrade from TIE DOWN. The buddy bearings were just not tight in the hub. The Loctite worked for me after losing about 4 buddy bearings.
