Oil again, just got my first diesel
Just got my first diesel, what oil should I use? I've always used Redline in the boat and Molbil 1 in the cars, not sure what to use in the diesel. Also how many miles can I go between changes when I'm putting 600 miles a week on it? While we're at it, what what about filters?

I would use whatever VW recommends.
I've heard that those VW's get something like 40 miles to the gallon, any truth to that ?
In my Cummins I use Premium blue synthetic which is an oil manufactured by Valvoline for Cummins.
