Default Does anybody have experience with Key Bank?

I currently have my boat loan with Bank of America and am in the process of refinancing it. I am working with Essex credit and it looks like I can re-fi with Key Bank at a good rate, but before I complete the paperwork I wanted to see if anybody has any experience with them, good or bad.

Any comments? Thanks

I think Essex credit sells off to Key bank also they have several different payment plans including a once a year payment.

Keybank's okay, I got a descent rate through them, getting the loan was a breeze and so far so good, but the only warning I have is that their customer service is terrible after they have your business...

I have my boat with them and have nothing but good to say about them. I just did a refi on it at what I think is a great rate.

I got my money from Key, through Essex.
I tried to deal direct with Key, but they wouldn't call me back!
The people at Essex were great.... but I paid about $600 in "closing " costs. Ask 'em about the fees.

Payment book is paper. You mail the check with a coupon, or you can have auto deduct from your bank acct.

I went with Keybank, but the IR was high. Still is in my eyes, 8.9 on a 1999 boat. What did you refi at? When I talked to them a bout 8 weeks ago about refi & cheaper payments, they said they had nothing to offer me.
