Default tech. question,,, oudrive drops...

takes a couple of days on the trailer for the drive to drop down from the trailer position.. I know its either a trim ram or the trim pump,,, not loosing any fluid, how do I trouble shoot ?? Thanks Chris.

If it`s not leaking fluid, I would think that a bad valve is letting the fluid bleed back to the reservoir.

You need to do a rebuild on the trim cylinder. Easy to do your self. If it's a twin do both cause the other is'nt far behind. Otto

I had the same problem and it was the pump.

I guess the question is how do you trouble shoot to see if its the trim pump of the cylinders, sounds like other have had the same problem and it could be either..
