Talking 25 Daytona runs 90 on stock 500efi

Well, I did it. I got my 25 Daytona to hit 90.1 mph on a stock 500efi power package. It originally ran 83mph turning a 28 Bravo through 1.5 gears. I descided to try a Black Hawk and after mucho dicking around, some re- engineering and one snapped vertical shaft, it hit the big 90 with dam near no fuel and just me on board. I have given up 6 mph cruise speed at 3600rpm but gained 7 on top and isn't that what a cat is for anyway. At low speed the rooster tail is something to see and as the hull starts to pack air it flattens right out and the rooster disappears. I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to swing the labbed 31's but I was wrong. The only question now is how long will it live. Any guesses?

Lost 6 on the cruise and gained 7 at WOT. Looks like good math to me.

How long will it last?

Until it breaks.

good luck. Have fun.

It'll last behind a hp500. Just watch the reentry. Those props will grab big time. Now go shoot some video!
