a 9mm you usually have more shots. a .45 hits harder. I personaly would take the .45. There is a better chance of a one shot stop. Of course, if you are not to sure your going to hit it in one shot, with the 9mm you've got a dozen more shots to try.

A Eagle is a waste of time, as is any handgun you cant use. A good all around social gun is a 1911 45, either Govt model or commander. If you need more then 8 rds to end a situation you shouldnt be carrying.

there was a reccent thread on this.
I just bought a Glock 23 a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it! it is very small and concealable 10shots .40 cal and the recoil isnt bad at all and it is extremely acurrate and consistent. It makes a great conceal/carry gun with plenty of knockdown power
If you are familiar at all with Glock you know that they make 3 basic frame sizes Large, small, and, tiny. the 23 is small. what I really like about it are the sights, extremely quick and easy to aquire your target.
From what I have heard DE is more of an overpriced conversation piece. I still want one
for more info on Glock check out www.glocktalk.com its like OSO for Glock afficianados.

Depends on a few things:
1. Who are you looking to shoot?
2. From how far away?
3. How many times would you like to shoot them?
4. Would you like to shoot there friends?
5. Will they be dressing for the occasion to be shot at?
6. Are you worried about getting caught?
Most of the guns you listed will meet criteria to most answers to the above questions.
If the answer to question one is Me, Please look into spitwads or stapleguns!
