What is the benefit of prop cupping?

cupping of a propeller allows the operator to trim the outdrive at a higher angle holding the prop,and lifting the bow of the boat it also can reduce the rpm by 250 rpm or so it depends where you put it and how much,

it helps hold in sharp turns ,reduces cavation?spelling,or slip.

it can make the boat plane out quicker.

But the main thing is it creates lift and reduces drag by getting the boat up and higher out of the water for increased speeds.
