We had a customer purchase 2 540 short blocks from them,, and they were terrible. The camshaft in one engine would not turn, and when we removed it, the bearings had been grinded or filed down in an attempt to clearance them. The main and rod bearings were all over the place, and did not appear to be fit. We ended up disassembling and completely reassembling the engines. I would not recommend them to anyone. Feel free to give us a call if you need any help.

I have had a little expierence with them on a small block a few years ago, and I would say their work was marginal. I don't think they have enough expierence in the heavy use marine market. Lets face it, motors that push these boats thru the water under continous loads at high rpms have to be just right, close won't due. Stick to the engine builders in the industry that have years of proven results. Buying good parts twice is a real bummer!
Good Luck.
