Default 32 Sunsation Insurance?

If you own a 32, what are you paying for ins? and what motors? I'm shopping for ins.

Ahhh, CAP is getting the bug and is on the hunt....

I'll have something to add within a few days. I'm guessing for a trailered boat with T-496HO's it's gonna fall somewhere in the $1500-2000 per year range...

I've had the bug and found several I liked. I 'm waiting on a call now from 1 broker on Ins. I'm 32.5 years old with a clean record no claims on my other boats either. I can tell you right now if it comes back under 2K a year I'll be in a 32.

1 guy last year told me it depends on what motors it has, told me keep it with 6.2's or 454 mags to have it under 3K I said no way not for boating in Philly area rivers 4 months with a few good weekends. At minimum with 454 mags I told him

I bought a new 32 w/ 496 HO's in April 2001, 1650.00 per year with Allstate. My driving record is perfect, perfect credit (it matters), no claims ever. This price was adding this boat to an already existing mutiple boat policy. I owned the boat up until Jan 2003 with no increases.
