About how much power (or current) is drawn by the nav lights (red/green on bow and white anchor light)? I've been afraid to keep them on all night when anchored (for fear of draining the battery), but I want to make sure I'm seen - there areas I am planning on spending the night that DO get occasional late, late night boaters passing by, and 9 out of 10 they're probably DUI.

I recall someone on this board saying that a conservative estimate of the amount of power available in a typical group 27 marine battery was 30-40 amp-hours (conservative means that you don't take the battery below 1/2 of full charge).

Well if you have two batteries you are totally fine. However when at anchor you are sapposed to only have on your 360 degree light. That will not kill a good battery.

Mark, figure 1/2 amp per light. If you just put on your all around white then you will drain 4 amp/hr overnight.
