where does the rev limiter live?Module?

where does the rev limiter live?Module?

I have a '90 mercruiser/454 mag. What is the Rev limit and what is the Rev lim on a V6 module.Or is it in the Dist.?

There is no rev limiter as long as it is a TB IV and is not from a Merc racing/blue engine.
