Default where's the best place to mount Regulator

Installing my bypass reg somewhere above the fuel sep/filter and still visible(so I can read the fuel press gauge mounted to it) with my procharger intercooler. Do people mount these on the intake or carb blow thru box,or,or,or Any ideas?

The "best" place to mount the bypass regulator is as close to the carb as possible.

In fact, some guys add another fitting to the carb box and run the fuel line TO the carb, and then OUT the box to the bypass regulator. This ensures that the carb sees full pressure at high flow rates.

In all practicality, though, just in front of the box is fine. Make sure that you route the fuel lines in a manner that the incoming and return lines stay far away from heat sources.

And there are two solutions to keep the fuel from getting hot after being bypassed.

1) run a fuel cooler (arguments abound as to where the cooler should reside).
2) run a pump voltage control box. This will run the pump slower at low revs to minimize the fuel being bypassed and heated.
