Livorsi Tach Problem

Livorsi Tach Problem
I have twin 502 MPI & recently put two new Livorsi tachs. They read almost identical up to 4000 rpm after that the port tach flutters & bounces between 4000 - 4500 & the SB reads fine . Engines seem to run fine no miss what-so-ever. I swapped the two tachs the other day to see if I had a bad tach but same problem. any ideas?? bad ground ? I checked seems fine any ideas?? thanks,
