Does anyone have any good ideas for mufflers , I have a 32 dominator with 500 efi's. Would like to stay away from silent choice . In our boating area upstate NY noise laws are getting a lot of attention.

I have the eddie marine switchable ones on my 288,, got pulled over by Lake George partrol and barely passed with a 88-92.. You have to decide if you want full time or ones that open and shut automatically at idle and open up as the rpm's increase or switchable..

Check the Teaque's switchable tips too. I put a set on my last boat, and they worked great!

Be careful, some new laws require full time mufflers. Switches don't cut it. Thank goodness they haven't even discussed it here.

Check into Dana marine products,they have awsome spring loaded mufflers and are reasonably priced,Ihave them and they have worked flawlessley,came highly recomennded by some boaters out of Hutchinsons in the Alexandria Bay area,where the marine police are tuff.

I boat in A bay alot, and with the Teaques, you can't tell they are switchable. I hit the switch as I cross the boarder, and the police just wave! That way when I go home, or to a different water system, I'm nice and loud when I want to be!!

i just had Dave @ Sunsation build me a stock 32 Mid-Cabin with hp500 and i have been using gbb full time exhaust for noise and they are great! i will give you a decibel reading later in the week!
