Default Bravo XR's?

How much hp are theese things rated for?

How would they hold up on a heavy boat (10k ish) with say 5 to 750 hp. in rough water conditions?

Also do they bolt up to a Bravo 1 gimbal?

the bravo 1 xr is rated for 575hp,that is the biggest motor merc puts on them, some people put more but it depends on application.yes they do bolt up on bravo gimbals but you have to change the gimbal bearing because of the larger u-joint of the xr

And add the trim limiters in the rams lest you bind the u-joint. The seal behind the gimbal bearing may be off different size as well.

Just re-torque the topcap of the left turning prop every so often. Running about 650 HP's pushing #10k.

Ask airpacker how the drives held up in the rough day he was on the rig!!!! I am carefull out of the hole also.
