Default Merc Silent Choice Problem

I have a vacuum leak on the system and diagnosed it to the pump itself. Actuates fine but after 30 seconds it looses the vacuum. Also the solenoid part # 16283 is bad as well. Anyone happen to have a pump assy or a link for a rebuild kit?

Are you absolutely sure it is the pump ? Mine leaks every year at the relief valve, so I have to clean it and then it works fine again. Did you spray dishwater on to locate the leak ?

Phazar, Tried the soapy solution and could not seem to find it. The inside of the housing where the "crankshaft" is was totally full of corroded crap. The end cover was so badly rusted it was I may need to flip it around or make another. I've tried this before with no results and the "solenoid" quit working. Tried cleaning that out but does'nt seen to make any noise when I hook it to power. I am assuming this is the release actuator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
