I am looking at a 22' schiada (1986) with a supercharged BB chevy. The owner says it has a SSM#3 with at two-speed tranny. From my research, it looks like the #3 is no longer made. What are the issues with this drive and set-up (tranny)? Can you get parts...are they reliable....what are the maint. requirements? I would greatly appreciate some input.

there are still a lot of #3's around. no issue with parts.

Depends on if it's a #3(older), or a #3a(newer) drive. 3a parts are available, #3 parts are not!
