how many eliminators have thru hull pickups and where are they located
i am going to install some on my 33 daytona and was just wondering where to start

You should place the low water pick up on both the outside sponsons, specifically between the two stringers inside each sponson. (Inside every Daytona… there is a small stringer and a big stringer (the motor mounts is bolted to the big stringer.) This way the pick up doesn’t produce air in front of the drive/prop. The pick up should drop 8 to 12 inches.

most of the pickups that i have looked at only stick down about 1/2 inch or so

Let me clarify... I wanted to say 8 to 12 inches forward from the transom.
