Placed this Ad in the wanted section. Have a new one on order but the part is back ordered from Mercury.

This tie rod mount took a crap and busted the outer housing around the gimbal's lower pin. It turns out that the tie rod end mount was defective from the factory. A close look and you can see the dark area where it was cracked from day one. The crack is by the weld which is a result of not heating both pieces properly before welding. The design also sucks if you compare this part to others. The base plate should be a lot shorter with either an additional spline or the top bracket or clevis closer to the bolts.

Call and ask for Byng at marinee machine and replace both. You will have on immediately.

I have 2 paid 800 for both I have early style drives but was
collecting parts for upgrade drysumps.Just need to know
pin and rodend I.D. I think I have M&M Machine.

I already have the new mounts as pic'd below. Need a gimbal. Gimbals are backordered and there is boating to be done and time is a wasting. Keith, you know having extra parts is never bad. I just never have what I need.

These are Marine Machine. You can tell because there is no name on the equipment.

that totally sucksssssssssss did u get her from tnt ? ? I see @ least, do believe there are 2-diff. housings and mounting locations for the tye bars some on top and some on the backside 45* angle can u-confirm the diff. and why the changes etc. dry vs. wet sump or is it specific to application / I love the "MENACE" best of luck! sell / let me know jay 7815489300

6 upper housing.....tiebar on the back
