STERLING 1350's....Couple questions....
#13
My name is John....I don't have the old Bacardi boat, but am considering a Skater....I have never even been in a cat, but heard that they are awsome riding boats...
I might be moving to Vegas though, in which case, may change my mind as there isn't much boating on Lake Mead compared to other places...I don't wanna be the only one with a fast boat, you know..?

Shop insurance before shopping boats. I don't believe anyone is taking cat newbies these days. You might get done on an 80MPH 30' cat and you can work your way up over a few years.

Last year, he was posting about his mid-70's Scarab 30. Now he's shopping for a 55' MTI cat.

Sterling will charge a LOT more than that. They charged me $7,500 just to hone/re-ring a 650 HP motor. That wasn't even a complete re-fresh. Same valves, pistons, bearings, springs.
