My 28 with 300xs
I finally ran my 28 with the new 300xs.Took it out the 31st down here at Ft myers beach. The first day the motors were in breakin mode, but the boat and motors ran Great!I had 190gals. of fuel.I know the 28 has twin 70 gal.tanks, but mine was built for the endurance run Mercury,Kurt Willows did from Alaska to Seatle. On New years day I took the Skater for some runs down the beach and realized I was out of breakin mode.I did several passes down the beach my fastest was 102 @6180rpms with 14.75 x32 props preped by B Blades. Not bad considering I had 130gals at that time.Still have another220rpmsOnce I burn off some fuel I will try a set of 36`s back in Atlanta.
I will post some pictures and video soon, the motors sound great from a distance yet are quiet in the cockpit.Marty and Joe @ Diamond Marine once again did a hell of a nice job with the rigging and installation!

Hey Steve
Nice to hear your up and running, conrats!! I know your loving it. I should be done with my 32 later today, just have to bleed the steering, set engine height, connect the kill switches and bolt the new front seats in. Just in time for a rainy crappy weekend...lol
