Default 30 Skater Questions!

Anyone who has had experience with the 30:

Has there been any rigged with verados? If so, how did it run?

I have heard 102-106 with the 300XS, is this accurate?

what is better? The flat deck and quarter canopies or the raised deck with the electric windscreens that flip up?

What would be a good inboard setup to run in the 125 range with good reliability and fuel economy?

Thanks,

DK

I own a 30/308 Skater. Here are 13 pages of pages on my boat, lots of detailed specs and photos http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...149139&page=13

Do not know about verados, probally to heavy.

T/300xs 102mph is realistic, and 2.4MPG!

Deck configration, all based on what you like, and how you use your boat. Mine is raised deck, with flip up windscreens. I love it!.

Jim S aka (jimkidmotorsports) is building a 30 with LS7 power, 125mph+, and expecting reasonable ecom.

I also know of a 2007 30 with T/300xs with warranty until summer 2009, with nice paint.

JIMKID, thanks but not ready to pull the trigger just yet. trying to do some research right now. The 30 you have for sale is beautiful!

What are you building for a 30?

Thanks!
