Default Looks good Larry

Looking good, you are doing a great job,,, Have you installed a drain at the lowest sections of the transom well?

I spent a great deal of time doing that , but after seeing your old boat , I'm doing away with that . If you remember your Transom , you did not have a well , it was just flat across, it is more work , but worth it

Default Larry

I know that my transom was flat across, but in the pictures of your transom well, it appears that you might create a water trap, are you gonig to remove the upper lip?

Not sure what you mean but these pics should clear things up . I made two molds to lay up two parts for the transom , they are to fill in the well .
Spray mold with PVA
spray gelcoat
one layer 3/4 once
2 layer fab mat
2 layer 1.5 once
My buddy Ken Borrelli owns New wave Marine in Deptford NJ ( NUWAVEPARTS.COM) one of the Largest Merc dealers . Also repairs and builds boats . I was out of Vinylester resin so I layed them @ his place
