Blume, sorry if you've answered this already. How much weight does the SLW save over std layup?

Why wouldn't all the boats be built with the lighter layup, ride? Strength? cost?

Awesome boat!!
It saves about 800lbs. It's just lighter/race lay up or SLW. It doesn't add strength and the cost is considerably more. Less weight equals more speed. It also has a new lighter weight wrap around windshield that saves another 100lbs with no loss in strength.

WOW!

On a boat that weighs 4,300, (800+100) 900 lighter, that's like 20% lighter, that is huge.

I may just have to get me one of those...in my dreams
