Yes I will post pix later . 0.90 stanless plates that get sandwiched between jack plates and transom . Yes the stainless Jack plates are a bit heavier but they are the only plates rated for severe offshore use . In your case you will most likely be OK only because those 2.5 wegh I think 350 lbs . In my case I have 3 Litres that weigh 505 . I had same alum plates on a checkmate that started to fail @ slot area after a few years of use . Just trying to help . If you need plates I can hook you up with them
