David do you still have skegs on center motors of did you chop them off? I've seen a few fast triples without skegs in the center. Also did you get a set of dewalt props. Seems guys are having good luck with them on 28's with 300s I really love the colors they look even better on the water

Thanks for the compliments!

I'm going to keep trimming the skegs on the center motors until the last thing. I believe that I can easily reach my goal of 120+ with just switching outside drives, removing the 350lbs, and playing with engine height.
The 4 blade dewalds that I tried last fall didn't work very well as they increased the stern lift

Awesome project. Just so happy it's not CC or my work would be done........

What size and pitch Dewalds?

Very beautiful 36 David! I will be running Dewald's first set of CNC 36s on my 28 very soon and will let you know what speed/rpm they run. I think a set of four of them would get you closer to the 130 mark than your goal of 120 (with some setup changes to your rig). Have you ever thought about taking all that weight out of your boat and putting your motors on setbacks? I'd first call and talk to Pete about it, but that would certainly help your 36 carry the nose.

Thanks, the dewalds I tried were15x 34's, Dave said that he was working on cnc machining, but they weren't ready yet. Its great to hear he got it going,
I would be interested in knowing how they work out for you.
Set back probably would help, it's cool to know I've got more options available if I want to go faster.
I'm gradually removing weight as I go, I started with 500 lbs to see the effect. I had taken 150 out before the shootout, and I just took 100 out today for my next run

Best of luck with it David, and I'll let you know the #s I get out of the 36s. You've done a beautiful job on the restoration of your 36!
