1550hp Sterlings. The blower thing is a waste gate to change the blower boost with the motors computer by just flipping a switch. 1200hp with 93 oct and 1550hp with 116 oct.

I was just about to write "Blume LOE Marine sold this boat".

The plumbing is for the excess supercharger boost.
Missed you at the show, hope to see you in DS.

This Gus's Skater Super Light Weight 388.

It can be run on 93 or race gas with a flip of a switch. It has dual tanks.

They are NOT Chiefs in this boat. The owner is a friend of mine.
Blume

When running the dual fuel system, how much of each octane can the boat contain? Just curious, which brand and type of 116 fuel does he run? When type, I'm thinking, is the 116 oct. AKI, RON or MON number?

Nice looking boat.

Nice looking boat.
The big tanks hold 93 oct and it holds 260 total gallons. The small tanks are 40 gallons each and they are 116 oct. I think he said VP racing fuel and 93 is at the marina.

Thanks Blume

Just had the discussion with a friend of mine the other day, so wanted to find out whether it was Motor octane or AKI octane. I know the VP C16 and Q16 runs a motor oct. of 117 and 116, and have an AKI oct. of about 118. Gus, maybe you can chime in here?

Wow, 40 gal, would have guessed a bit more. These engines goes through 280-300 pr. hr. at WOT? That's 6-8 min of run time. Then again, if you can hold it open for 5 min. you got some big ballz or REALLY good conditions

Is there any top end number on 93 yet?

1700 Sterling Turbo motors were never going in this SLW388. This one has Sterling big blower motors.

Gus likes Superchargers.

The 1700 turbo Skater was still being tested somewhere in Louisianna at some Marine center last Matt Trulio reported.
