way too slow ???? Yes in the skater world 105 might be slow but can count on one hand the number of boats on Cheasapeake that run above 100 MPH everyday . A third engine is not worth the 15-20 mph . Just step up to plate and buy a skater I O and go 160

Has anyone just bolted on the 300X's. That should be worth a few MPH. As I get older I appreciate the comfort and safety of the bigger hull in big water.

Most 30's run around 100mph best case with 2 300xs's . I think one with triple 300xs's and DBR mods w/cowlings would run over 115mph and accelerate really good. Not sure how much better it rides in the rough though over the 28 with a good balanced set up? I think I/O's are good if you have a lot of money for the engine package but there is something to be said about not having all the maintanence especially in salt water.

106 with 1990s prop technology. Not the point though, the boat will never handle as good as it did then without tripples. And it will NEVER accelorate as well. Those motors were also right on the transom. Twins on a 32 just dont work as well.
