30 with triples

A 32 B maybe, but the A needs the extra weight back there. I dont know how 3 3.0s would be balanced but 3 2.5s was just right. In rough water we ran 3 cleavers, in calm water we ran an RE4 on the middle motor so we could tuck in and air it out just as well. Put us a leg up!

When I bought mine I talked to Peter because I wanted a 32 , He's the one that told me the 32 would not do any better in the rough than the 28 and the 28 has more top end.. comparing 2 motors to 2 motors.. putting the third on makes a difference though.. way more acceleration..

Wow cant believe 115 pounds can make that much difference ? Three 260 hp is 1125 lbs and two 3 Litre 505 lbs . Think about you said it needs more weight back there and it was perfect with three 375 lbs engines (1125lbs) without jack-plate . So pair 3 litres 505 each ( 1010 ) total and the CG ( center grav ) moved back because jack-plates accord to my calc will be balanced the same as when you set it up with triples ? Not trying to be a dick I just want you to hear my logic .
