Hello LA, What number did you get or are you trying to keep us in suspense? Ha. What were your midrange cruise numbers?

working on top end just to see what I can get out of it but really in the end I want a good comfortable cruise speed because that's where I will spend the most time cruise speed was 86 pretty level too!

Hey LA, Love that cruising speed. You gonna try and tune in the Dewalds. I think they have run very well on the 28s but not sure about the 30s yet. Im sure somebody here can confirm that. Good luck with that top end. hoping they work well for you. Have you ever run the BBlades Blasters. they are supposed to do very well too.

I know Gary is running 6 blade herrings on that 32' he just got done. Heard it has touched 110mph. I do not think a stock 30' Skater will come close to those numbers though stock. I have a buddy in NC with one that has 300x's on it. He has run 112mph light on a good day. I would think it will be around 100-105 depending on whether you get the DBR mod or not.
Ron, is your Buddy in NC, Rob Loeffler? That's who I bought my 28Skater from way back in 2003.

Steve, Yes we all hung out down here and grew up running around in the ocean on weekends! Rigged all his race boats and that is who I bought my 28 from.

ran the dewalds again, picked up on the top end but the cruise speed is where they really shine plus the vibration from the 3 blades was very noticeable and pretty much gone with the 4blades. Needing to get some real info on where my prop shafts are and make sure the toe is correct... may find some more top end after that but I love the attitude of the boat and the speed I'm carrying at cruise with the 4blade dewalds.

LA, What you described is exactly what I experienced by switching to the Dewalds! Good luck with the tuning!

Hey LA, What cruise speed and RPM are you talking about. Also what increase in top end are you doing specifically. Thanx Steve.
