Default Why hasn't this sold yet

Does anyone know anything about this boat. Seems like one of the least expensive 36 Skaters out there. I know the tanks have not been done. Seem like it's been for for sale a long time .( On and off ) What should this boat sell for. Someone here must know the history on this boat. Thanks http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o52726-en.html

I inquired about it but after talking to friends, I passed on it due to the tanks not being done. I didn't want to risk buying it, taking it to Skater for the tanks to be done, and they find out it needs a bottom job done too due to fuel leaching. It's a lot of boat for the money. I just didn't want to risk being way upside down on it incase it needed more than just tanks.

Tanks plus i also believe because its a pleasure version which not a lot of people like ( including me). A boat like this you NEVER use the cabin so its more weight and different look. Does this version have a different bottom ?

It only seems cheap because all the other Skaters on the market are way over priced and have been for sale forever! IMO that Skater is worth 50K on the best day of its life. Don't get sucked in that Skaters are the best cat out there, trust me there not. Skaters are a very needy boat, if your not repairing tanks, rot on the deck, rot on the tunnel, rot on the bottom around the pickups trust me its always something. I am speaking from experience, I have owned several over the years. I would much rather have a MTI, Nor-tech, Spectre or Motion .Good luck !!!

If its rigged properly from the start, ittl never rot essentially. Unless its something that sank. The only Skaters I can think of with those issues either spent some time at the bottom, or were re-rigged by someone who was clueless about how to rig a balsa cored boat.
Certainly nothing wrong with the other brands you mentioned though, I do love me a good Spectre!

Well he knows now, and still doesn't put real tanks in them . what if fuel changes again? I have seen Skaters fixed with the new coating and still leak .I would check with EPA before you put your fuel contaminated skater chips around your plants.

What a duck. If that's the case, than why do you keep buying them. Go buy a Lighting or a Motion since they're so much better lol.

P.S- Also change your screen name. Doesn't go well with you.

If you don't run ethanol fuel, then why do the tanks? BTW. My tanks are done.

Thanks for the replies but I still would like to know more about this boat. Sorry Skate 36 about all your problems with skaters , it does make one think a little hard about buying one. I was to believe that were the best cat out there built. I haven't heard anything positive yet from skater owners .Maybe they will chime in .
