I have it on my Skater and wouldn't have a Cat without it. I am right handed and I sit on the left and so the sticks are on my right and I still use the Foot throttle 90% of time while boating. Gives me a better feel that if something happens to a drive on one side only I might better control the pull to one side that may occur. GT Perfomance (Upland, Ca.) Installed it on mine. Mine is set up to twist your foot if you want to control each engine seperatly ie: provide a little more to one than the other.

I take it is not the type that you still have hand throttle option ? Any issues in the rough stuff ?
I have done some research . CP performance offers a single or dual engine foot throttle ( N-CONTROL ) DOES NOT offer hand control as option . The N-control is MFG by mayfair and they may offer hand / foot throttle in future.
IN -CONTROL was the company that made the foot/ throttle , NO LONGER IN BUSINESS .

You can slave a hand throttle to the foot and vice versa if one wants both.

A normal foot throttle can be modified by cutting it in half and attaching a morse cable to both halves and then throttle on. It's not that difficult.

In Control made a split foot throttle. If CP does not offer this ask them if they can modify the throttle for you. In Control quit this a few years ago.

The IN- control offered the option to have had throttle work in tandem.

I have the same set up on my Spectre and love it. I tend to use the foot throttle alot when just cruising around as well.

I had foot throttle in 13 ft tunnel boat years ago and had zero issues , actually seemed natural

In-Control made the Hand/Foot Throttle set up. I rigged a few boats with them and they worked perfect. The ones I did used the split peddle foot throttle.

It seems that N-Control is not making the Hand/Foot adapter kit.

why not build yourself a center console and put the sticks on the right side of the left seat???

Rigging my 32 soon and after 30+ years of right hand throttling not sure I will ever be comfortable with left hand console mounted throttle . For that reason been looking into have split system . I thought I saw a system that you had the option to either use foot or hand throttle . Also concerned performance in rough water .
Any input and or exp would be great .
