The mids look different than the Verado 350 SCi!

Maybe they ARE delivering to us a 4 cyl supercharged/turbocharged engine :)

They look like a 300x mid if that is what the picture is.
Would be really cool and funny if Mercury through us all a curve and leaked out a bs lead to not let the cat out of the bag.

Or better yet, instead of finally introducing a big and portly 4 stroke, they actually reintroduced a 3.6L hotrod version of a tuned up 300x with a new sporty that could take the power!

I think it'll be a 4 stroke outboard because of EPA constraints and the short film shows a camshaft with 12 lobes.

thus it's proly gonna be a straight 6 4stroke power plant

I agree, Noli, one shot shows 6 crankcase crankshaft cap locations and one for a timing chain.
