Ron ,
The boat looks really nice with the new graphic's package ...
For future reference, that's the "family" sand bar . If you were to follow those other boats north and took the next left .. it is at times, a bit more ... hedonistic ...
Just don't go much past the Walgreen's Mansion ( on the point ) it get's a little shallow ...

Will definitely have to check that out next time. My buddy mentioned it but we did not have much time to hang out. Just did a quick stop. Actually had launched up on the Okeechobee River. Ran 75miles for the day.

Finally got my gear cases installed after REM polishing the gear sets. Looks like a great enhancement for our gear cases. Reduced friction, heat and better oil adhesion. Look up "Remchem.com" for some info if your interested. We have a guy in OKC that does Nascar, Indy, F1 on about any gear on them. Took it out today for the first time this year. Port motor is still in break-in from the "pow" last fall. I also got an accurate weight on the boat with some auto racing corner weight scales - 3,931# , empty fuel tanks, 3 gallons oil, props, (two heavy optima batteries, and Verado power steering). Also installed a Garmin 7610 chart plotter. The screen is a bit washed out compared to the 740 it replaced - maybe I need to adjust the contrast??

Hey David,
Glad to hear you are back on the water. How did you weigh the boat with the scales under the wheels?
What about the front of the boat where the trailer jack was?
Lastly did you weigh the trailer separate.?
Regarding the Garmin I am surprised that the unit is washed out. I will take a look at one next time I have a chance. There are some settings for the charts and safety contour settings. That may change the overall look.
Try checking the brillance too. See if it is set to auto or manual and try adjusting it.
I do think they have a contrast setting for the chart plotter section other than day or night mode.

Ron, I put the 4 scales at the most remote corners of the trailer with the front scales at the transition to the tongue, weighed the boat with the trailer, then only the trailer at the same locations. I wanted to try to measure the CG, but could not make that happen. The jack was not an issue because of 4 scales on the trailer ( jack off the ground). Ran the boat again the PM again today, 103 MPH at 5350 RPM. look forward to break in! It does accelerate better! 93 MPH in approx. 1200 feet with the 34.5 Dewalds. Conditions were prime! My water pressure was 14 PSI +, so going to raise the motors up another 1/8" and see. Let me know what you can on the Garmin. Thanks, David

Yep, I need to double check my numbers! I have always been below 8 to 9 % slip. I think that the boat is doing better though. I'll be more precise next week. I have always hade pretty low slips. May be when I get closer to top end sip will increase??? All chime in. I am not a fat head, just posting what is see and like feed back!

Something's wrong with your #s David..........you're going faster for the rpm with 34s than both the 35s and 36s I've run. It doesn't surprise me that your boat is only 100/150 #s heavier than mine, seeing as it's even later model than mine. My batteries alone save 56 #s over yours.
