Just wondering, because I've heard complaints with the small IMCO steering rams.
Rik your young and have BIG arms. Us old guys love out power steering.

Got the old girl out yesterday afternoon. Ran to Miami and back over 60 miles.
Had to get the juices flowing again. Forgot what it was like to go boating and owning a Skater!
Now i know.

Blowing the cob webs off as we type ... next Saturday is our St. Patties Day Run.
Been doing some Skunk-works stuff ... don't want to shoot my mouth off until I've tested.
+ standard maintenance stuff, new billet seal carriers + reseal, re-gel some small dock rash, etc
Hearsay has it we're gonna see 2 maybe 3 new boats, recycled not brand new. ;-)

How's everybody's new year so far?

Dale, Mine was set up just like yours. Steering wasn't bad, just is better now with power! Maybe the quotient is small arms???

Not hear say. Yes at least 3 new ones. First one going to my longtime boater friend and world champion 28 Skater Rob Loeffler. Boat getting 15" BRAND NEW 300x motors. We will start a thread once he gets the boat.

I'll be "Skaterless" this Summer - first time in 17 years! I think it will be worth the wait though, it will be nice to have an "all-new" boat again - and hopefully with 500s bolted to the transom........
