Yes, cant say, and nope. I'm not posting #'s anymore. Everyone gets into a passing match with me when I posted results in the past. Anyone can look up results of any of the races/shootouts I've been too up in my neck of the woods and draw their own conclusion. I hate not being forthcoming, but it's just not worth it for me to prove anything to anyone. I've run Merc's before, so the 2.5 is not new to me. I'm looking forward to hearing the 2.5's screaming behind me....Like I said, I'll decide if I'll keep the 2.5's after the boating season is over. I'm just stoked I got a 28 Skater!

Motor looks nice. Have heard good things about BRP. There was a 28 Skater that was done with etec's that went over seas. Here is a video of the boat on YouTube. Looks like they need some solid motor mounts.

Larry congrats on the 28 Skater, seems like a cool project!
Keep the pics coming. How reliable are the E-tecs? if you go that route, would you go with the 250's HO or 300's?
