Hey Skate, Maybe Im missing something but what size hull was the widening process for you showed. It looked like the end result with the deck on was bigger than a 308. Was really cool to see how it was done. Always wondered about that as mine was done before I took possession of it. Steve.

Those were all photos of the 338 I did. It was a 308 hull split in the middle and 10" added to the middle as well as the sides built up 6" before adding the deck. Your hull should have the same modifications. The large deck laminate photo was for a 46 Skater. It was an impressive sheet of glass.

Hey guys saw another thread that a 350hp Merc outboard running on a cat overseas has finally stuck its head up. They say will know more in a week or so. Glad my hull other than the wide body came with the transom strengthened too. May come in handy as the weight looks like it could be above what the Opti XS weighs. hope its good news.
