Steve, I just found out my friend from lake Lanier John Oniell bought the 29 DCB with 400 outboards. There's a thread under general discussion about it running 113 mph. John is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge. He has had a cat by numerous manufacturers. I look forward to seeing Jon and the DCB this summer.

Thanx so much Bob, I have been speaking with John for months now. Ever since he bought the boat from Javier who I had also been talking to. He is a great guy. Very knowledgeable. We were actually both on a conference call with Herring at one point discussing the props the DW/400 boat ran to 124mph. His boat Ran awesome today with the Original props that merc made for me. The props the Xcat boats will run when they start running the 400ROS motors. Only difference was the Diam on the props I left with were 15 inch. The ones he ran with were 14.5 inch Diam. I will let him get the rest of the details out. Im so happy for him. I could hear his smile coming thru the phone. Ha. Ive met so many great people thru this experience. I never thought his boat got a fair chance. It has a little bit different set up than mine as far as set backs are concerned which I think my boat would benefit from. Ill probably try some setback the Summer after this one. He is running head to head with me now. Its a great story. Once again. Congrats to John.

I'm so happy your boat ran as well as it did Steve. Your cat running 114 made me re think my initial thoughts on the 400s'. That sound at speed out of the 400s' on your first video is nasty also, pun intended. lol. I think light on fuel both you and Johns rigs will run closer to 120 with prop work. Enjoy!!!

Hey guys, Going back out to Skater on Wednesday this week. They had to do some adjustments to steering and driver seat so I could sit comfortably and reach everything better. Seat gets moved up an inch and also wedged an inch. Also had a 2 inch extension put in steering. Could barely reach steering wheel before now should be about 4 inches closer. Im sure it'll be fine now but you need to make sure. Plus a visit to the factory is always fun and this one will break up the winter a bit. Steve.

Nasty.. Just read Matt's article on the Skater booth in Miami featuring your boat and the I/O version with Arneson's......I've said it before many times - you have the patience of a god.

I can honestly say if it was my machine about to be delivered... Peter's booth would be featuring the I/O on the tilt trailer and an empty trailer in the middle of the booth as I would be out running the warranty out of it!!!

I commend you all for that beauty!
