Hey Sam, Keep up the great work. Looks awesome. Like the four bolster seat set up. Originally I was going to have the one bench seat with four seats set up. Since I saw the wider cockpit they are using on my boat now Im gonna do the same 4 bolster set up you're using. Seems much safer for all parties involved. When do you expect to be completed.

really liking the way yours is turning out... the added room in the cockpit is going to be real nice!
Thanks Jim here you go
The windshield receiver and dash were all custom made in house by Chris Mills and crew. The conversion is an ingenious labor intensive process which allows him to adapt the same receiver to multiple deck applications.

First the port side is fitted to the deck at the desired height, rear profile, and length. Then the Starboard side is cut down to match. They are then cut in the middle to the desired width.

This cut down of the receiver allowed us to gain enough width inside the cockpit to fit a four person bolster in the back without sacrificing walk around witdh on the sides next to the windshield.

The dash plug was made to fit larger boats with larger GPS units in the middle and Vessel View 7s on the out side. We cut the dash in half and set the drivers side in at the desired height. We then fabricated a make shift console out of a cardboard box to hold the throttle assembly. Then it was a matter of getting the steering wheel and bolster in the boat to set everything to fit me.

Next Manuel bonded both sides of the dash together so that we hit desired width of the center panel to match our console which was 11 3/4" wide and 15" high. Our goal was to meet it perfectly with the bottom section at height and width. It was then set on top of the receiver and marked from below to cut it to fit within the receiver.

Next we set the completed part back in along with the seat and a console template with shifters to cut the lower dash profile. The results turned out a custom fit dash and receiver/windshield for me.

All the parts will be ground to fresh glass and tabbed together. Body work will follow.

.
If BC gets enough orders for the same 308 or similar Skater, maybe they can pop a mold using yours as a plug.
Lots of work right there, but worth it
Looks very custom, Boat Custom!
