I've raced and owned Skaters since 1993 and I've got to say the outboards with windshields are my new favorite hassle free easy to get around boat. Good luck with the Mod Skate. I know Chris will bust his butt to get it done. I would also go with a light grey windshield and no darker. I put a dark windshield on my 28 at first and couldn't see through it safely.

Thanks for the input. I actually drove your 28 at LOTO. Chris had the clear windshield on it then and it was great. I'm headed back from four days in Chris' shop doing the mockup of dash and windshield. We put your old dark windshield on to check the the height. It has a way cool looks factor being dark! I'm planning on using your light grey. I'll post some update photos on the project when I get home.

Hey Sam, This looks absolutely awesome. Very nice job. What kind of set up is your back seat gonna be. You doing three bolsters or four flat seats?

We actually have room for a four bolster back seat. Craig from Appearance Products is taking care of the upholstery.

Is it just an optical illusion or is the windshield sitting more swept back than the others out there??? ... just wondering if the shop was experimenting with the receiver?

It looks like we are into a new era in Skaters....Ron (Flight Club) puts together a hell of a new boat and Sam makes them better - LOL!

It's about the same angle. It's the same as what's on the Freedom 28 on the previous page .
