Default Need a 15X34 lefty cleaver

WTB 15x34 Merc cleaver LH fat shaft Torque-flo. 95 mph thought I popped an engine. Shut it down and idled my sorry as$ for 15 min back to the dock. Phoned wifey, told her that's it for the year. She met me at the docks, I tried to look brave as I drug my knuckles on the ground towards her. Pulled the boat out expecting pistons or lower unit(not mine) to be stuck in the back of the boat. Suddenly a rainbow appeared starting in a wino's as$ and traveling to the back of my boat. A missing prop ear I see, oh joy. Once again I hear the http://nicktoons.nick.com/videos/cli...y-joy-joy.html song again.Only a prop I need, anyone??

Candidate for post of the year. Take that prop and hang it on your wall of shame with all the other stuff you will distroy with these boats.

Andy, Merc props are notorious for breaking blades. Give Dave Dewald a call and get a set. He will warranty them for at least a year or more.
I have heard more stories about those props breaking than I can count.
Summer tip it is always a good idea to check the props in preflight for cracks.
Glad to hear it was not the motor.

Is that what you run on your Skater, Dewalds? What engines and speeds do you see? Where have you been, I see 4 posts in 12 yrs? Thanx for the input. Andy...

Yep 2004 28 Skater with 300x motors was running 118 with Merc 3 blade 15x34 labbed with the new Dewalts four blade I've only been in the ocean and they really run level and faster in the rough. I'm just finishing up on a complete re-rig tanks, cap, new gel should be on the water soon. How do you post pictures on here?

Joe
