Did some fine tuning with my x dimension today. Used Shaun Torrente’s new STR Xact laser tool. Works really nice. No more need for straight edge and tape measure.

Ron, Really cool! how exactly, does that work? Cost?? how do you set it up? Looks like the laser is pointing above the bottom of the hull??

Your display of attention to detail and craftsmanship on this boat is truly second to none. A pioneer in the rehab / restoration of a boat. I have been looking at this thread for ideas as I work on my 32’ skater. Very nice work and thank you for the great documentation of it all.
