Update today. Got a chance to run the boat for the first time. Had to play with water pick ups to work out some pressure issues.

Not sure why Peter did not make notch same size in diameter as pick up. May need to massage notch and widen it out. Was able to get up to 20psi at 80+ mph.
Here is a few more pics in the water

Ron, Your boat looks even better in the water!

Never saw actual Pics of in hull water pic ups. Looks like it sticks down pretty far. How does it do with scrubbing off speed. Guess in the end it works cause of the extra height you can gain with the drives. I have zero experience with them. Just curious. Steve.

Steve
The pick up may be a little low. Due to the notch Skater put in the bottom I think it is not wide enough and needs to be widened. We are still working on the pick up. Lots of work left to do.
Problem is every change requires lots of testing.

Hey Ron, Me again. Sorry. Was curious as like I said never even saw them before as to where they're placed. Do they actually come thru the bottom of the boat or are they hanging down underneath at the transom. Sort of like water ramps but with the metal pick up. Steve.

Quick question- what PSI do you need to have at WOT?

Double Rigged 10-07-2015 07:02 PM

Nasty, Yes the pickups go through the bottom. They are under the notch in the transom.

As far as water pressure we are not dialed in yet but with the pick ups deep we have seen 20lbs in the ocean 2' seas at 90mph.

Here are a few pics of the fuel pumps I installed. No more primer bulbs and any chance of a lean condition.
Also worked finalizing GPS and Stereo install. More pics to follow soon.
