They had to shift gears and machine a special fitting. The thickness of the aeroquip one when turned down we felt was not strong enough. We came up with this and it also leaves plenty of clearance for the cavitation plate.
Well get more pics tomorrow when I pick them up.

Also had some custom motor/hatch decals made from Kinnetic Animation. Ryan did a great job. Motors not finished but here is a pic of the hatch.

Do the pickups go to strainers? Or straight to the lower unit? I added these to the Cigarette and water pressure is 25 pounds, but they still pick up grass.

Jim
Currently no sea strainers. If all goes as expected and I have a bunch of water pressure I will be adding some. Taking this one step at a time to see what works, how each step affects outcome and what doesn't.
Trying to learn as much as I can about this. Uncharted territories!!!

Mine is headed off to Skaterland for new tanks. So while it is gone, I will be pestering you with questions about the testing.

I hope you know that nice flooring is toast.....

I took the motors off when I sent my 28 up for tanks. They said why did you do that? You did not have too. When I got it back I was finding new fiberglass shavings for months. So I think that's smart removing power.

Now Ron we want speed reports!!!

Great thought, I will have ramps installed while it is at Skater, along with a new rub rail.

Yes, speed reports, with prop references. And drive heights.
