Hey Ron ,as soon as I get the speedo fixed or better yet that plotter coming this way I should have some base line numbers ,I will get ahold of you as soon as I know if that will fit nicely ,
Need to take some good measurements this weekend.

mikesufka 08-11-2016 09:52 AM

I'll wait here. ;-)

I can't get the copy paste for the link to work either. Go to Speed on the Water and use their search feature for "Kennedy". It will be the first listed result. Very strange that you have to dig in the SOTW site.

Congrats Tom! The boat looks great.

Any time.

Skater30 08-16-2016 01:45 AM

Beautiful job on the 28 Tom! And I'm sure it runs as good as it looks.

tom kennedy 08-19-2016 08:07 PM

Thanks skater 30!!

Double Rigged 08-27-2016 02:59 PM

Congrats Tom on limited test time and 1st pass at the shoot-out. 120mph awesome thus far!!!!! :boat::ernaehrung004:

tom kennedy 08-27-2016 08:14 PM

Thanks Ron ! Boat ran real good !! Hope to put a few more on tomarrow!

skate 08-27-2016 10:23 PM

Tom great run. I had some great shots of you but my camera and phone were consumed by LOTO before I got them downloaded. And no alcohol was involved before the clan starts in on me!

Skater30 08-27-2016 11:22 PM

Congrats Tom, running that in a mile is awesome! I knew your rig would run as good as it looks....... :ernaehrung004:

Nice Pair 08-28-2016 01:52 PM

As Posted on S&F

Kennedy just ran 123 mph in the 28 Skater

"Congats Tom" Awesome run

Congrats on the 123 Tom. Way to represent. I thought there were supposed to be quite a few 28's this year. Skaterjim and a couple of others?

Next year we will get to see some 28' DW's in this class

Double Rigged 08-28-2016 06:18 PM

Maybe, Would be nice to see some real time, same conditions runs.
123 is getting with the show for stock motors.
Kind of thought we would have seen some those 120mph DCBs They brought a fleet of boats but no outboards????? Wonder why......
To accomplish what Tom and Skater Jim takes a lot of knowledge and hard work. Old school boats and hard work getting it done my friends.

JMP 08-28-2016 06:34 PM

Atta' boy! Imagine what it will do with seat/set up time! :champs:

Zero Patience 08-28-2016 07:48 PM

That 26 DCB w/ 400Rs would have never run what Tom ran in his 28 - I have four separate friends that rode in that boat a few weeks ago. They all said it was propped so high it would barely plane, that's how they got 122mph out of it. It would have never accelerated hard enough to run 120+ in the mile. Any good sized outboard cat running over 120 at LOTO is doing exceptionally well - I've never owned one that would do it! Congrats again to Tom on a great run.

tom kennedy 08-29-2016 09:18 AM

Thanks guys for all the congrats ! I guess all the hard work payed off

Flightplan 08-29-2016 11:24 AM

Does anyone have a link to JUST Toms runs. Maybe someone could edit them to this thread. I didnt get to see any of them.

Double Rigged 08-29-2016 02:36 PM

Double Rigged 08-29-2016 06:17 PM

noli 08-29-2016 07:00 PM

I appreciate seeing all the enthusiasm and excitement over a boat with egg beaters. seeing what Tom has accomplished and the way Orthobam talks about his experience with his "lil" 28 makes hanging out with the big dogs seem within reach of someone on a budget with some determination. keep working on those setups, Skater nation has big targets in their backs haha.

They have had targets on their backs for many years. Show me another boat manufacture with the performance numbers year after year. Some very fast old school boats to this day not forget Gone Again either the very fast 32. Funny thing is a lot manufactures and guys all post big numbers but when it comes time for to show all of us at the shootout they do not seem to show up??????
Have to put bullets in the gun and fire it to hit someone in the back..... LOL. I am looking forward to the coming year. Should be interesting. Sorry for the hijack Tom. Should have started another thread.

skate 08-29-2016 10:43 PM
