3) Can you big 28 gurus tell me what it's like to drive one?

4) I want to drive BAM's 40

Mike, Below is a link to a short video of running my 28 last summer at Lake Tenkiller. Not the best video, but take a look.

Here's one from my 28' when I first put it together with 300xs's. Hard to believe it was 2011.
Man it sucks getting old.
We were running between 90-100mph.

Damn...guess I sold mine too cheap a month ago for 87k
I thought I did OK, considering I purchased it in 2003 for 85k, and then over 13yrs, 2 Repowers, 2 Full Re rigs, tanks at Skater,Dash, gauges wires, hoses ect..Everything New except paint and interior upholstery ....I put well over 100k into it, But That's The cost of ownership and doing it Right! I have always thought good rule of thumb, Minimum 10% of the purchase cost of the boat, per year for maintenance and upgrades.....provided Nothing Blows Up
Of course bigger boat, bigger Power...the 10% goes out the door!

Amazing how quiet the ride is, especially when the camera turns to the engines. Guessing this is pre windshield?

In northern Ontario there is no ethanol in premium fuel which is where the blue one spent most of its life. Before I sold it we inspected the tanks and they are as good as new. The guy who has it now has been very careful about what fuel he has run in the boat. I can assure you that that blue 28 has been well cared for and has had a lot of money put into it. Rigged by zero patience, maintained at double r performance. It is worth a look if anyone wants a nice 28.

Does anyone know of any project 28's or 30's that are ROUGH. Bad tanks, soft spots, damaged? Looking to get into a small OB cat to play around with and not drag the 388 every weekend. Don't want to spend a ton to get into one. There was one on CT that would have been perfect on S&F but it seems it sold.

And what a fine Factory installed blonde she is. I remember the first time I saw her at TNT before the 2011 KW run. It was love at first site! A tall hot blonde with tools that knew/knows how to use them. Congrats to the both of you on your marriage Tyson and Tristan.
