Installed fittings in rams for steering hose. Have to be careful working the fittings so the are in the right position. Takes a little work back and forth.
Also installed some nice skater supplied ring eyes. |

Here are some pics of the installation process. From layout to drilling holes. Notice we used a counter sink on screw holes so not to have screws chip gel coat. Good amount of sealer and taped light to make clean up easy using a thin applicator to remove access first. Pretty simple process. These are Lumishore dual color surface mounts. Blue/White

Where are the water ramps?

Zero, you can see the port one in the first pic of the post above yours. It's just to the outside of the drain plug.

More progress today. Had to change tilt tubes to longer ones because of the 15" mids/clamps. It pushes the motor back 2.5 inches. Parts supplied by Latham.

You wont find many 28 Skaters with 3ea Garmin displays. 1ea 12" and 2ea 8" 7600 series. Old school motors and High Tech Dash with Digital switching.

Ron, why didn't you just have longer rods installed in the steering cylinders? That's what Steve did for my Zieger rams when I did my conversion. You don't end up with that lever that could rotate the tilt tube and throw the geometry off. That dash is going to be the cleanest, most modern of any 28 dash in existence!
