Transom Rings?
#1
With all the talk about boats falling off trailers that are not strapped down, I always wondered why my Sonic was not equipped with transom rings.
Is mine the only one without them?

becouse thay bounce!!!! I always figured that If I hit something hard enough for my 7500lb boat to come off the trailer those straps arent going to keep it on......

My 358 didn't have them but I asked to have them on our new 386. I use Moroso P/N 80750100 straps-they are rated for 10,000 lbs. each. I use two at the bow and two at the transom. If the trailer and boat bouce they are going to stay together. If they are going to flip it's taking the truck or break the ball off the truck.

Well, at least now I know that they weren't just left off my boat. I wonder why they don't put them on. I have heard that it's mandatory in some states to have straps on when trailering.
Where did you guys install then?
